| subject: | Cable to Transfer from 1541 to IBM PC Parallel |
> If anyone out there has made up a cable for transferring data > from a 1541 diskette drive to an IBM PC parallel port according > to the wiring diagram provided by the 1541.EXE file included in > the archive C64EMU.ARJ (It is in the IBM MISCELLANEOUS FILES > area on 500CC Formula One BBS and is also on Way Out West BBS) I > would be grateful to hear from you as to whether your cable > worked or not. I have successfully made up te cable that works with X1541 (a far superior program to the other transfer program!). It worked, but jeez - it's slow! :( It would be faster to transfer the files using a null modem cable and 2 terminal programs!! Of course, an even better way to move files between your 64 and PC is to get 64NET! :)) --- FMail 0.94 SD®¯™* Origin: A pointed message from Ralphey!
