 Do you think that Garak is modelled on 007 in a sort of skewed
 way?  I can see him as Bond having fallen out of favor, forced 
 to be a tailor.  This also isn't too dissimilar to Steven 
 Seagal's disgraced former Navy SEAL turned cook in "Under 
 Seige" although Garak is considerably less physical.
