subject: Where can I buy RA Pro?

OMW> New features not included yet, like newer messagebase formats,

hunh? what other message base formats have been created since JAM was
released? do the existing ones not provide the capabilities that a BBS
needs? i know that JAM offers many additional capabilities that are not
implemented in any currently available software ;)

OMW> true telnet support without needing an external fossil driver,

errrmmm... why mention FOSSIL? and as far as that goes, the use of a FOSSIL
does remove a major amount of additional coding and problematic areas that
would otherwise be avenues for bugs and abuse...

 OMW> native version for win32,

i could probably be convinced to agree with that except for the fact that
windows isn't the do all, be all, end all OS that m$ wants everyone to
believe that it is... i quit, a long time ago, cataloging all the bugs and
holes in any windows version publically available... one only has to look
at the groups that do catalog these things (ie: bugtraq, full disclosure,
etc) to get a real sense of the huge lack of security and all the holes and
bad programing used :(

 OMW> more comfortable setup program,

i might agree with that, too, if one could show me what a comfortable setup
program should look like and do ;)

OMW> time goes by, the software should go with it.

agreed there, too... and with that in mind, i can't help but to point out
that if that is where one's mind is, then they would be running their own
web servers with one of the myrid of PHP driven forum and portal
packages... they offer much the same features and are "more
modern" :-|
