Whelp...one word explains why we chose to winter here...tax.  Besides 
didn't SD have snow in the outskirts last week?  :-)

We were going to call friends and ask why they left Alaska for the 
blizzards down there.  ;-)  They're contract people for BP, so they 
commute but actually live in Jamul.
