Last week I phoned an 0418 number from my bat phone on behalf of a
colleague. I got the message, "The number you have called cannot be
connected from this service". Strange, I thought, never heard that
before.
So I called the network help number and told the guy the story, he got
my number and the one I was calling, then went away for quite a while.
"The problem's not with your number, it's the other one."
FIM: "Do you mean it's out of range or what?"
"I'm not allowed to tell you."
FIM: "Why not?"
"I can't tell you that."
FIM: "I think you just told me something."
"I didn't tell you anything." (sounded a bit nervous here)
FIM: "OK"
Very strange, don't you think? Any ideas?
Regards, FIM.
