| subject: | A File Security Question |
Hello Russel, RC> You could possibly write a wrapper program which asks the locking RC> program to unlock the files and then runs the application in question... Now, this is a GREAT idea ! Take the problem, turn it around and you got the solution. It is much easier to keep the files locked by default and unlock them only when we receive a validated request ! RC> If you want a decent OS/2 security program then call Airtech Computer RC> Security on +61-3-9802-1912, Hmmmm. Isn't it yet another incarnation of Eliashim's MasterSafe - Safetynet STOPLIGHT etc ? RC> or just get LAN Server advanced. They already have lan server advanced, about 100 of them I think ;-) Thanks Pierre @EOT: --- Msgedsq 3.10* Origin: DataRescue is Rescue (2:293/2213) SEEN-BY: 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 807 808 809 934 955 712/407 SEEN-BY: 712/515 517 628 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 293/2213 2602 106/2000 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
