I only know of her what I heard and saw, as I mentioned before.

That is true.  The difference is going to be between friends who trust one
another to be honest.  Now opinions based on fact are going to be
interpreted two ways between two friends and I've seen it happen more than
once.  Trust is always the determining factor and true friends do not
become enemies over it.
