CA> Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us. Have you done

I almost decided to ignore this, then I said "what the hell".

The way you worded your reply could easily be taken two ways.
Please choose the appropriate response, as befits your comments.

Respose #1:

You're quite welcome, Charles. I also had a collection of magazines
from that same time period, and always enjoyed reading about the
strange inventions, futuristic predictions and innovative ideas that
came about during that era. When you mentiond the engine, it sounded
like the kind of thing I would have found interesting. I didn't
remember seeing it in any of the mags I had, so I went searching.
A few of the current developers they spoke to gave the impression
that it's something they just thought of last week. I'm sure they'd
be surprised to learn just how long ago the original idea was conceived.

And yes, I've done many searches, usually for people who don't have
I-Net access, or don't have the patience to wade through hundreds or
thousands of pages looking for the exact info they want/need, or may
appreciate getting more info than they currently have.
I like to help if/when I can.

Response #2:

Feeling a bit snotty today, Chucky? Do you ever wonder why you seem
to get into so many pissing matches with other posters? Perhaps it's
time to look in a mirror, then give your face a good slap. Oh, and I
did do one other search today...for "snotty, sarcastic d!ckhead".
It only returned one "hit"... http://www.undercoverdesign.com/dosghost/
