Greg was hit by a Randy Johnson fastball for uttering:
GC> Remember, TSN publishes just about every official baseball manual and
GC> stat book.
While I don't take their rag any more, I do get some of their stats books.
The one thing that I've found is that they'll bend over backwards to make a
correction to their books (I've mentioned several to them about their ABA
section that were corrected this year and they should be making a few
corrections to stats published next year in their NBA Guide). Elias, on the
other hand, is too arrogant to admit that they are wrong (and they're the
ones that provided TSN with the stats). I told them about the problems
because TSN said that I should and they told me that *I* had to be wrong,
even though I mentioned the fact that I had verified the stats with 3
different sources and two of them that got their stats directly from Elias.
