Greetings, All;
 
I am in need of a HT for 444 MHz band: It needs to work, have at least a
couple of watts output, have PL encode, 1 or 2 channels, and have a
charger.  It can be programmable or rockbound.  All I will use it for is
monitoring and participating in ARES.
 
I don't care what it looks like.  It can look like it fell out of
someone's junque box.  It can be held together by duct tape, I don't
care, because the ONLY thing it will be used for is ARES.
 
Here's the catch: I'm disabled and have to depend on Social (IN)Security
so it has to be VERY cheap!  (Or do you have one to donate to the cause?)
