Hi Holly:

How I must agree with you on this! Two years ago we went to a SPCF
Festival and spent our time in a lovely motel with bath and shower,
a free breakfast of coffee, cereal, fruit, sweet rolls, etc. Last
year we went to a lower class motel - never again! This motel had
only a shower (I am a bath person), no freebies of any kind, a very
small room in comparison to what we had (two full size beds, a table
with lamps and chairs which were not available at the second motel). The cost
difference was minimal (perhaps $5.00/$10. per night) and
more than worth it! The pool at the first motel was in sight all of
the time as was the second but that was not a factor for us. And,
the "costlier" motel was eight to ten miles closes to where we were
headed.
I must suggest that anyone planning a trip with motels in the offering
use good judgement! Cheap is not necessarily very good!
