subject: WP8 suite service packs

Hi,
I have a question that hopefully someone out there can clarify
for me:
I have WordPerfect Suite 8 and according to the info with it
suggests that it is build 4.0.0.153 (I think the 153 is right)
anyway, last night I visited the Corel web site and found that
there have been 3 service packs issued for WP Suite 8.
Service Pack 1 is for build 153.
Service Pack 2 has been withdrawn (use SP3)
Service Pack 3 is for build 228 or later.
SP1 fixes only two things. On the other hand SP3 fixes masses
of things in every application of the suite.
Does this mean that build 153 was near perfect in all suite
applications and then the Corel programmers went beserk
when releasing build 228 and it requires a 12mb fix pack
to fix about 100 errors in all suite applications.
It just doesn't appear to make sense. I would have thought
the service packs would have been cumulative and have
been required to the applied to all releases of WP.
BTW I have the English international release.
Can anyone throw some light on this for me please.
Cheers
Mike
