you can. my experiences are that v1.09 work the best for my ISP's modems
connecting to my modem (e2864). my ISP has a boatload of tron modems btw.
check your manual and find out how to put your modem in basic kernel mode,
at that point atupx, wait and follow the instructions how to xmodem the
flash file in your modem.
