I watched the 2003 Super X tournament today, and it was just spot after spot. After the first 3 matches or so, it got boring. Jerry Lynn getting further in that could've improved things, I feel. > It doesn't translate into money and when someone gets jumped on from a > guy on a ladder, how does he come back? Out of shape now, after not wrestling for over 4 years, yes. Mind Games 1996 he had a 30+ minute wrestling match with Michaels, which was pretty much anything but hardcore. Sure, it wasn't a tech-fest, but it was a WRESTLING match. I'm sure everyone remembers it. > They'll replay that bump Mick took off the cage and through the table > forever, but where do you go with that? Did Hogan, The Rock, Hunter or > Shawn Michaels? No. Hell in a Cells 1 (HBK vs Undertaker) and, I believe 6 (HHH vs Foley) , also say hello. Foley's Japanese matches were just a precursor to him getting to where he wanted to be. And yes, he did wrestle a LOT of Hardcore matches against the likes of The Rock, HHH etc, but he also had some good battles. --- Internet Rex 2.29* Origin: The gateway at Swills (1:555/5555) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 555/5555 229/3000 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
