Hey Jim,
It was pretty active hear on the military bands last night(Tuesday 8/20)
in Southern Connecticut. 324.6 was really active with refueling activity as
well as 252.800. They also worked with Boston Center on 132.3 over Hampton
Vor over Long Island. They mentioned AR 204 and heading to Albany then back
to Maguire. Their call sign was "Mover 25" any idea who that might be or what
type of airplane that might be ? Also earlier in the day a bunch of C130 s
went buzzing by again. I still haven't figured out what freq they're using
any idea of what freq range I should put into my scanner to search.
I've tried leaving my Icom 7100 in search mode for a week or so checking 240
- 260 range one mhz at at time with no luck.
So did you go to the Westover AFB Open House ? Pick up any good freqs. I
was too busy watching the thunderbirds etc. to find any new freqs.
TTYL,
Tim Mccauley
