There was a fella named Gary Gilmore, who was probably an Ovation player, 
that was one of the first inmates to be executed after the death penalty was 
reinstated. He was convicted and sentenced in the state of Utah. He chose to 
be executed by firing squad. When asked if he had any last words, he said 
"Let's do it." Other than sharing the name of our venerable moderator, he had 
nothing to do with guitars.
