I watched a program here on the Discovery Channel (Canada) that dealt with
that very issue. Apparently, there's a design that will alleviate problems in
both men _and_ women.
I know that for me, genital anasthesia was a problem on long rides (ie: over
45-60 minutes or more) until I got a gel-pack.
I notice, too, the change, since the gel-pack got swiped and I haven't
replaced it yet.
The interesting thing here is that due to loss of one testicle due to cancer,
I have, shall we say, a little less material mass to worry about displacing,
and yet I still find conventional saddles uncomfortable.
