| subject: | Door Utilities |
Hi, Alan... AI>DS> Doug Rhea, at bbsfiles.com, hopes to eventually port the DreamWare AI>DS> doors over to where they can run under telnet. AI>That would be a good thing. I had quite a few (5 or so) Dreamware AI>doors online and they did get good use. I played hangman and word AI>scramble regularly myself. It would be nice to see them back up and AI>running again. I liked Chomper (Pac-Man), but wish it had the "power pellets". AI>DS> Another "alternative" is that Stephen Hurd (Deuce), one of the AI>DS> Synchronet Sysops/programmers that assists developer Rob Swindell, is AI>DS> working on a utility that'd allow these non-fossil doors to run under AI>DS> telnet (that's what he has told me). However, I don't know when this AI>It's the wildest stroke of luck that these fossil's were developed AI>back in the late 80's and today we use them to put those doors etc AI>on a telnet BBS. I wish Duece success with that project. I'll have to touch base with him in the Synchronet Sysops echo, and see how he's coming with that. I've got the DreamWare doors, and the key generator for the non-fossil version of all of them...and as noted, would love to add them. I'm also eager to add some ham radio doors, that were originally not designed to work with a fossil. --- þ OLX 1.53 þ Part of GT Power 035/005, FIDO 1:382/33, ZeNet 92:501/101 --- SBBSecho 2.11-Win32* Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS 501-223-2541 tbolt.synchro.net (1:382/33) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 382/33 61 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
