It always seemed obvious to me  that after having gone so far down the
road of production with Sgt. Pepper(which critics were saying was
George Martins' best album and not theirs).They were getting back to
basics with the White album and then with 'Get Back' they were
intentionally trying to do basic rock,blues or whatever else originally
inspired them. Hence, the 12-bar blues for this song.
