Currently there are no groundbreaking new additions to timEd 1.10 for people to feel compelled to upgrade to 1.11. Also, I don't think anyone is building DOS or OS/2 binaries of timEd 1.11. It's unlikely backward compatibility was foremost in Oliver Grimm's mind when he ported the code to Linux, therefore it's probable there a number of things missing from the source that prevent it from being built under DOS & OS/2. I no longer have any interest in DOS programming and haven't run OS/2 regularly since 1997, but someone else may want to volunteer their services. In the meantime, timEd 1.10 binaries for DOS & OS/2 (and some Y2K patches) are still floating around.
