i always drive very carefully between taree and newcastle. one time i
was heading south at a slightly illegal speed, another car came past
doing probably 140-150k. a falcon coming the other way locked his
wheels,slid to a halt, lit up the tyres in a screaming uie, and headed
south. about 2k further on he was booking the other car. don't know
which one he was, starski or hutch but i think that he was spending
the fines in rubber (:

driving around sydney, if you see a falcon with very dark window
tinting, assume it to be a cop with a mobile radar. some have the radar
mounted on the dash. on of my workmates actually saw one with the radar
mounted on the rear drivers side window, but hanging *inside*, well i
suppose that as it was a cop driving, there was no worry about brain
dammage (:
