Already have F-Prot; but in shareware it's been DOS only.  Have to wait
to see if the new version will be even that.  I inquired about their
commercial OS/2 version some time back, and got a very uninformative
response.  They didn't even quote a price for it!
McAffee is a possibility, since it does come in an OS/2 flavor, but is
(for me at least) a lot more expensive than IBMAV.
Anyway, the problem with IBMAV appears to have been resolved.  With the
help of some good on-line input, have worked out how to update the
floppy files so that everything will be current.
