I did alot of scripting for VBBS and you could do alot of stuff in it, read files, cursor positioning, made for really nice scripts. DS> What were you trying to do again? Basically it is a last caller mod, logic was when a new caller comes in, read in lines from the old file, remove oldest caller, add new caller, and write file back out. I think my way around that will be to create 5 different files (for 5 different callers), then either in a batch file or in the script itself, delete the oldest file, rename the other files and create a new one, then i can output each file to the caller in order. DS> Maybe it would be best done as a quick and simple door, if you can DS> find a good door kit to use.. Yea, that is another consideration. I am toying with it, but it's been years since I messed with Pascal, I have picked up 2 compilers for OS/2, so we'll have to see. :) Thanks for the input Kev ...
