I'm going to get to one of the feed stores this weekend. We have to pick
up some dog food and we might pick it up there. This place does have a
bulletin board. I'll even ask the guy at the desk if he knows someone who can
teach us to ride. This place grounds there most of their own feed. I'm going
to stop by Southern States to inquire about fencing as we are planning on
fencing all our land(we've got 6.82 acres). Found out from the zoning
commision here that we can have three horses here, 1 for the first four acres
and one acre per additional horse.

I'm thinking of getting ones that are not less than 15 hands high. I would
like to get a pony for my younges to ride when she's taught to ride, she's
2 years old. I get my love of horses from my mother. She grew up on a farm
in Georgia and rode one of the fastest mules she's ever seen. Jack beat cars
and trucks going their highest speed which at that time was only 45 miles an
hour. She would tell me that he loved to race when he was not working. My
grandfather used him for plowing where he could not use his tractor. I get to
see horses plowing and hauling wagons and carts just about every weekend. We
go areas that have Amish and Menonite(sp) farms on both sides of the roads.
BTW, when I wrote to you before I thought you might be the Debby Taylor who
uses one of the bbss that I use here in Southern Maryland.
