Of course it will, that is its purpose, to kill!  But the issue is using
things which kill only once, and have a reasonable degree of specificity.
In that regard, and considering it's primary toxicity, Sevin and
Malathion are among the safer of the available alternatives.  Safe?  No!
Safer than many?  Yeah, if you must use something.  Use them if you must,
but there are sometimes still safer alternatives.
