Is it possible that there is not enough of the ink to hold the powder?
I have trouble remembering which ink to use when embossing, whether it is
pigment or dye. I know that one dries a lot faster than the other. I
finally just bought the clear embossing ink to use.
Maybe Bettie is doing what I did on my card in the exchange, and that is
knocking off too much of the powder when getting off the excess? That is the
reason that my angel was so light.
I stamped and applied the embossing powder, set the card aside until all had
been finished, then tapped the excess off all the cards and then used a heat
tool. I really didn't get the effect I wanted with the angel because I
knocked off too much powder.
Just my thoughts on the problem.
BTW, I posted another msg to you in Creative Arts.
