 Let me guess, Hal.   Your computer isn't set up to display Cyrillic
 characters (the Russian alphabet).
 I sent a message (in Latin characters but in Russian words) to the
 original posting, asking him to use English language only, and
 Latin characters.   I think Sergei was doing the same in Cyrillic
 (I didn't switch my machine over to check).
