Hello Jasen,

Responding to a post in the 4DOS area:
    On Saturday December 20 2003 at 13:33,

[... snip ...]

 JB> echo. %+ input /c Overwrite %DATAFILE: %%inp
 JB> echo.
JB> if "%inp" eq "YES!" or then goto blankfile

The above produces: Unknown command "or"

When I introduced this routine, I believe there was no ".or.". The user
has to specifically type 'yes!' (without the quotes, of course). I have
removed the "or then" part....

JB> echo The %@DATAFILE data file was NOT overwritten!

Remove the "@" character from the variable name (%DATAFILE).

 JB> goto fin
 JB> endiff

There are some other "minor" errors and cosmetic items that I found, but
I'll comment on them later, after I have had an opportunity to explore this
work.

Enjoy the holiday.

           Cheers ... Gerald

... Not one hundred percent efficient, of course... but nothing ever is.
