Hi, Jeff;
JE> What was your call then?
II> Wild Dogs Nothing, Big Zebra Keeper (WD0BZK)
JE> You thought about getting it back? I don't think the FCC has ever
JE> reissued -any- W"D" calls.
II> According to the CALLSIGN echo it hasn't been reassigned,
II> and it would be kinda nice for the "seniority," but it's
II> too darn expen$ive, so I'll just stick with "Quick, Pile
II> More!" (PROOF: The FCC knows I'm full of it!)
II> Speaking of Mir, does anyone have a sat tracker pgm
II> that will run under DOS that I could get a copy of?
JE> You get my netmail?
II> You betcha! A thousand Thank-You's!
II> YES!!! Crashed to me on day rate, no less! THANK YOU!!!
JE> Routed, actually. Your hub delivered it during the day time.
II> No, it came direct from... (checking system log)... 1:115/668 in
II> Wheaton, IL., SysOp: George Henry.
JE> Good man, that George ;-) I hadn't sent it to ya. But, I'm still
JE> looking for the program. You simply wouldn't BELIEVE what it is
JE> capable of, and does it all in DOS!
Yep... Gotta set it up and see if it does everything that people, (and
the docs) say it can. :->
JE> Ever think of hooking up to the Fidonet Filebone?
No, I occasionally FREQ a file that has come in on the filebone, but
I have neither the HD space for it, the extra money it costs to be
connected, OR the $$ for the LD to get it.
JE> MANY good and decent Ham Radio Operator aidding programs can be found
JE> there.
I'm sure! I wish I could afford it... and that more local Hams would
access and support my BBS. (If they are interested in computer files,
they all get them from the Inet!)
