I had an idea spring into my head about what example we could use of a
naturally occuring perpetual motion device. The Earth is.
Think about it.......if the device fails it isn't a problem with the machine.
The sun goes nova, that stops the device from functioning right? but the
device would have been perpetual had that not happened. The earth becomes a
wasteland incapabable of supporting life......The fault of the human race,
not the device. the idea is, under the correct circumstances, the earth could
keep supporting life forever. Is that not close to a perpetual motion device?
I'm also quite sure the energy output of everything on earth exceeds that of
it's input (life wise anyways)..... otherwise, how could people stay up for
three days at a time while only eating one small meal a day and drinking one
2L of coke a day (yes, I did it through the holidays)....plus add to that the
energy output of the earth compared to it's input, yes, SOME of the light is
absorbed by the earth, but the light absorbed helps produce energy in plants,
animals, etc...
Reply what you think.
