There were also multi CD interface cards about that could handle three type
of CDROM , some Sound Blaster cards had an IDE interface instead of the SB
interface.

The early SB CDROMS could handle four devices on the buss (the single speed
was locked as drive 0) if there is a jumper for drive select 0-3 or no
jumper it is not IDE.

An IDE CDROM will have a jumper for Master / Slave (CS ?).
