I think the latest release of FD does quite a bit.  I cant say that
for sure, as I h ave not used it myself, but the readme file I saw
suggested it does.

It is.  I have a dialup user, and as NC plus RC, I have nodes, and NCs
that still use pots.

It may very well be.  I still use it.  Right now I am unable to get
Taurus to send any packets, without manual intervention.  It sees all
the packets, but wont send them, unless I manually attach those
packets to the node.  Because I cannot read Russian, I dont know what
the problems is.  Maybe because I dont use Binkley style packets.
