ich was happy to find this recipe,
:-( ich could not get the   special dark cocoa and peanutbutter M & Ms
so i used my phantasie to make them very dark :-)

 DD>     1/2 lb Butter; softened
 DD>       1 c  Granulated sugar
 DD>     1/2 c  Light brown sugar
 DD>       2 lg Eggs
 DD>       1 ts Vanilla extract
 DD>   2 1/4 c  A-P flour
 DD>     2/3 c  HersheyrCOs special dark cocoa
 DD>            - powder
 DD>       1 ts Baking soda
 DD>     1/4 ts Salt
 DD>       1 c  (ea) chocolate and peanut
 DD>            - butter M & Ms

 DD>   Set oven @ 350-|F/175-|C.

 DD>   In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat butter and
 DD>   sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix
 DD>   well.

 DD>   Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; mix
 DD>   until combined. Stir in 3/4 cup Halloween candy and 3/4
 DD>   cup of peanut butter candies into batter; set remaining
 DD>   candies aside. Refrigerate dough 30 minutes.

 DD>   Scoop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheet 2" apart.
 DD>   Top dough with reserved candies. Bake 10 to 12 minutes
 DD>   just until set. Cool on baking sheets 2 minutes, then
 DD>   remove cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
