Hmmm, check to ensure that devs:printer.device exists.  That does the
translations for the PRT: device.    Obviously the parallel.device IS there
because PAR: works.

Also check to enure you have a preferences printer driver selected and available.

If you can print to PAR: but not to PRT: then it's almost certainly a
SOFTWARE problem, not hardware.
