i thought that you reckoned that you knew your history, the incident in

question was a naval thing. a british gunboat was exercising it's

democratic right to sail up one of china's major rivers and shout "fuck

off slopes" at the locals, when the upperty natives sent out a gunboat

of their own. they made a fatal mistake though when, instead of sinking

the poms, they dropped their dacs and mooned them. the poms replied with

a broadside of grapeshot. the chinese retreated for bandaids, the pommy

officers celebrated with a few gordon's gins, the men drank rum, and

buggered one another, and queen victoria rested peacefully.

thats very odd rodders, i could have sworn that it was light all the

time that i was at work last week, but, as you know more about

programming than david, more about c than paul, more about investment
