That's quite possibly the case, but personally I haven't found the need to Freq, so am not qualified to comment. Although I would have thought it possible, provided you know the telephone number of the BBS being sent the request. Surely when the remote system IDs itself to your mailer it is enough for it to know it has a file request message waiting? As I say, I could be very wrong as I've yet to find need to test the system. My mailer will call any number you pass to it on the command line, or will reference the nodelist if a node address is passed. Either way, it can handle it. Must try it sometime... Cheers, OJ. ...
