PE> I don't believe the poms predominately use the 24-hour clock.
PE> BFN. Paul.
KR> ask yourself which of us has been there twice in the last year, and
KR> which one hasn't (: the poms use the 24 hour clock in most of their
KR> timetables, and if i remember rightly, the tv stations use it also. most
KR> of the older people, though still talk in the old terms. it may be some
KR> sort of euro-standard that britain is having to follow.
You could say the same thing about us, if you look at teletext
and most videos. That's not what I'm talking about. Next time
you're there, hide your watch, and then at about 1.30 pm go and ask
5 different people aged 20-30 what the time is. I'll give you $1
if 3 or more say 13:30 (or half-past 13). I expect you to not rig
the question either, to get your $1. Anyhow, I don't believe you've
actually gone to the UK, you're just making it up, the same way you
forged those tickets to the USA, and the same way they forged the
pictures of the Earth being round. BFN. Paul.
