Thank you for the info. Do you know if he checks the srgames echo as well? 
I thought perhaps that might even be one that he "hosts" or however 
fidonet works. :) The contact method I used last was emailing him thru 
the contact form on his web site about 3 weeks ago. I'm helping a Wildcat 
sysop with his board, so I do some of the leg work sometimes. I'm more of 
a tech support guy rather than a sysop guy. :)

Of course I realize that email isn't 100% reliable, but I haven't bothered 
emailing back about the issue -- I saw a few days ago 
there was a mention of the cpu issue on another network. What I read was
that the issue has been reported to John Daily Software already by more 
than one person. I originally emailed him not really sure if he was 
already aware of it or if had been reported to him yet. Hence... we'll 
just keep checking his site. Or perhaps subscribing to the semi-annual 
newsletter that he offers from his site.
