Can you contact Howard Voren? He sprouts all sorts of beans for his
birds, and doesn't have a problem with spoilage. He said at MARE a
couple years ago that they continue to grow IN THE BIRDS' DISHES for 24
hours after sprouting without getting moldy. I don't *think* he treats
them with chemicals, but if you call him, I'm sure he'll tell you what
his secret is.
