WD> The use of "000", "00-0", "0-00" and "0-0-0" at the beginning of the WD> phone-field is irresponsible and may lead to criminal prosecution of WD> certain individuals if a serious enough mishap occurs, and we all know WD> that errors will happen. In Sweden all numbers beginning with a "1" are reserved for emergency numbers. I therefore move to strike the entire zone 1 from the nodelist in case some stupid Swede, that doesn't mind having his mailer send crash mail to the US unattended, and knows how to make contact to his hub/host, but still haven't figured out how to properly process the phone numbers in the nodelist. I also move to strike all numbers beginning with 61 since one of my best friends have a local number beginning with 61. He would be very upset if a seriously malconfigured mailer started calling him in the middle of the night. ---* Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 203/2 0 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
