* An ongoing debate between Roy J. Tellason and Ben Ritchey rages on ... RT: >> He's also got himself an itty bitty camera from someplace, and RT: >> was planning to put it into one of his airplanes. I haven't BR>> Now that would be cool in a Gas-Helo craft though powering BR>> the transmitter would be a challenge, IMHO. RT: > I thought so *years* ago, back when a camera was a whole lot more RT: > bulky. Why do you think that power would be that much of an issue? RT: > You don't want the airfcraft to get further away than your control RT: > radio can reach, anyhow, and that doesn't require a whole lot of RT: > power to get a camera signal back the other way. Portable electrical power (i.e. batteries) would be an issue simply because of the extra weight involved especially on a gas powered craft. I didn't say it was impossible, just challenging, as it would be for *me*. [:-) Many moons ago I was given a tethered gas (glow type) plane, and that has been the extent of my experience. -- Keep the faith, : Ben http://bellsouthpwp.net/c/m/cmech617/ : ICQ #32457590 AIM/Yahoo:benritchey Jabber:cMech : + WildCat!
