to remember that the Chinese are total and absolute bastards. It's a
pity we don't have more Chinese in Australia... we need more bastards.

  The Poms could kick the shit out of us any time they chose... but
why bother?

  I have never forgiven the Argies. We nearly had that great Pommie
Harrier aircraft carrier (HMS V-something... Valiant, Victorious,
Vagina?) for $500M, but bloody Maggie kept it to use against the
Faulklands. I find it incredible that Australia does not have an
aircraft carrier with a 20,000 km coastline. If we lost Darwin, we
would lose the entire North. The nearest operational airport would
be at Townsville.
