 My lack of awareness? Of what precisely? That is funny. Is he aware he
doesn't know what he's talking about? I Should address him directly but
I skipped most of his messages and deleted them already....

I used to be very strong advocate of Adoption as an option. I am not
anymore. Why? I have seen close up and personal how traumatic adoption
can be for some children. No matter how positive you are in telling
them they are adopted, no matter how loving you are- no matter how well
you take care of them- they harbor the scar of being 'given up'- for
life. And only they can work through at their own choosing. They ether
come to terms with it and move on or the use it in the way a victim
uses being a victim. They become possessive and cast a career in enjoying
victim hood.

When some women decide to have a child they think of it as FUN THING
TO DO.. gee it's cool! for about ten minutes a day.

They don't see motherhood and then parenting as a
FULL TIME LIFE LONG job; a long and winding road; a
journey of personal sacrifice only one who is there knows.

I say this with authority of someone who knows. David doesn't know.

 You may well look forward to the next generation of abused children
 ending up in foster care... Adopted children may do well but then
again they carry the vexing burden you know.. the burden of "Not having

Note how many 'fathers' get away with not having to be responsible
because 'there's' no proof'... Hopefully with DNA testing this will
come to an end. And of course the pro lifers don't like birth control
either. Isn't that something? As if people are going to stop having
sex for pleasure?

Even the fear of going to hell doesn't stop them. Oh by the way. I
finally got my answer to a long standing question.

Remember I once pestered to know why the RCC Sin of having sex before
marriage is lessor than the sin of (effective) birth control? It's
because the RCC believes life starts at conception so spermicide is
murder. Gee Sperm are suddenly independents sentient LIFE FORMS folks!

  I would. I think it would depend on the girl and how she feels
toward her parents... if she feels they'd kill her for real; disown
her outright .. I'd say nay to their knowing. But if she has an open
minded mom and dad... she might suffer a lifetime of guilt NOT telling
them...
