Hmmm.. I don't think I'll be installing Linux just to do that,
easier to stick with the crappy and clunky Win newsreader!

I've downloaded a few email/newsgroup type programs anyway,
and I'll have a play with them later - and pick the best out
of what I suspect will be a poor bunch.
