Looks like the Sequim Bay YC is trying to push the opening day 
of racing season up a bit:  
The first race of the Frostbite Series is scheduled for January 18th.  
The actual venue hasn't been decided, though I suspect it will 
be a buoy series inside the Bay.  There's talk about perhaps 
having an outside race, though.  
There will be one race per month over the next 3 or four months, 
when the Spring Duck Dodge gets back into gear.  
I'm going to give it a go.  Hopefully, I'll have enough clothes, 
gloves and boots to stay dry and warm.  
More on that after the race, and if my fingers are able to type!
