OK. You wish to have what format of IP-address record?
And how much zones have (use) this format now?

Now nodelist use these formats:

Zone1: address in "phone number with prefix 000-"
Zone2: address in "user flags" field, phone number reserved
"00-00-000000"
Zone3: PVT + address in "station name"
Zone4: PVT + address in "station name"
Zone5: PVT + address in "station name"
Zone6: address in "phone number with prefix 000-"

I see what your format (Zone2) the most inconvenient for use and the
farthest from a classical variant.

But I have the document:

Publication:  FTS-5000
Revision:     2
Title:        The Distribution Nodelist
Author(s): FTSC Members, Administrator and Honoured Guests

Issue Date:   26 January 2005
Review Date:  26 January 2007

=== Begin FTS ===
Field 6: Phone number (PSTN or ISDN)

[skip...]

This field may also contain the static IP address of an IP-only
node in decimal format with periods replaced with dashes, and
prefixed with a country code of 000. This method should only be
used in exceptional circumstances, since it risks conflict with
conventional dialling, and is almost always better to list a
fully qualified domain name in a field that allows it.
===  End   ===

Everywhere the call on a phone number 000 means incorrect adjustment of
your system and only it... So at Zone1 and zone6 it's exist.
