I think we have bass in our waters, but we certainly don't have
barracuda :)
Whilst on the subject on nasties, we have a bugger called the Weaver
fish which lays on the bottom in the sand with this spike poking up
ready to inject poison into anything that stands on it.  My father once
got stung by one and he needed oxygen and the works afterwards.
