Actually I'm being a bit over-the-top on the 1/N640th line, most likely the *Cs involved would be held responsible for any debts/damages... Especially if their action was without knowledge and (tacit) approval of the "membership." An Unincorporated Association is like a partnership with a flux of membership... It has no separate (legal) existance, but can be treated as an entity as a short-hand for the individuals who make it up. Any suit is against those individuals, but the Membership List is what determines who is and is not a party to the action... ...Alex.
