Can you tell us a bit more about her situation without violating her

          Heh... we've been here since 1990.  We derived the name of this
echo from the work of Dr. Bernie Siegel, who noticed that his cancer
patients often lived a lot longer than expected when they were able to chat
with one another. What he learned is useful in various situations, however,
and our focus now is on what works for us... whether we're talking about
medical problems, personal problems, etc.  You're quite correct that
SURVIVOR has little or nothing to do with outsmarting other folks and/or
with winning a popularity contest....  ;-)

          If you think you can, I think you're probably right!  I've done
many things which (supposedly) couldn't be done because I didn't know any
better at the time... and you sound real to me.  Hang in there & keep
