Interesting that you say that. Just a couple of weeks ago, I made a
point of playing some Groundhogs for my daughter's boyfriend, because of
the resemblances I saw to one of his CDs (Sonic Youth, maybe?). He's a
guitar player, did have a pretty good band together, but it just fell
apart because of the drummer (original left for better things and
college, the replacement didn't work out). He would strongly disagree
with being labeled grunge, but he listens to the likes of Soundgarden,
Nirvana, Sonic Youth, etc., and his music shows the influences. He also
enjoyed the Groundhogs I played for him, particularly the guitar.
